Christian Aid believes that it is essential to tackle the underlying causes of poverty. Key decisions made by politicians and business leaders in the rich world can affect poor countries and sometimes create poverty. We can take actions to make sure the voice of the world's poor is heard. Small actions like signing a petition or sending a postcard can make a difference. People from Burley have been involved in several campaigns to change the underlying causes of poverty.
